About
Designing across interaction, space, and emerging technology.
I am an interaction designer and HCI/XR researcher working across spatial computing, prototyping, user research, and design research.
Background
My background spans industrial design, digital media, interaction design, and applied computer science. This interdisciplinary path has shaped how I approach emerging technologies: not as isolated technical systems, but as tools that need to be understood, designed, tested, and adapted to real people and real environments.
What I Do
I design and evaluate interactive systems from early concepts to field-deployed prototypes. My work combines interaction design, technical prototyping, user research, and empirical evaluation, with a particular focus on XR, spatial interfaces, and first-time users in real-world settings.
Research & Practice
My research at Hochschule RheinMain has focused on head-mounted AR and mixed-reality interaction in museums and cultural heritage environments. Alongside academic research, my earlier work in industry includes UI/UX and interaction design for smart glasses, automotive interfaces, and professional digital audio products.

Approach
My process moves between design exploration, prototyping, real-world deployment, and empirical evaluation. I use individual prototypes not only as applications, but also as research artifacts from which broader design knowledge can be derived. This has led to my doctoral work on reusable and parameterized interaction design patterns for HMD-based AR.
